New sub, RE, Alpine, and kicker

lol like dft said, I'm kinda the same, I like lots of bass, but i like it to blend as well. I think I'm sold on the 15" RE SE for now. I'm ordering a ton of new stuff for my high stage and wiring first. Kicker 1/0 power kit, knu RCAs and 1/0 for Big 3, new RE 6.5" speakers, deadening for the fronts, and a 4 channel amp. Once I save up enough on the side, I'm gonna build a 4.2 cube box tuned to 30 Hz with a kurfed port with a 15" RE SE on 850 watts //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. Can't wait //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Ya I think I found those before too, but after thinking about what i wanted, I decided to try the 15", which can be had for around $200, so It'll save me a little while moving about the same amount of air. Though, thanks for lookin'!

By all means, build a sub system that can drown out your front. Just be sure to have a bass knob so you can turn it down to 'blend', or turn it up to bass out your friends.

Building an overpowered sub system, and then turning it down to blend with the front stage, is generally referred to as headroom these days. And it can do wonders for SQ.

We'll I'll have some RE 6.5" Coax speakers in my front doors with deadening and sealing, running off a Powerbass 4x100 watt amp, with two kenwood 6x8s in a enclosure in the back seat, do you think a 15" re se off my AQ1200D work (~850 watts)?

re se's sound ****ing sweet and can take a lot of power and get real loud if you do it right... im running 2 12's now and couldnt be happier.... I do plan on getting a bigger amp though soon because mine arent even running full rms yet //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Ok so I'm liking the SE, but I was thinking about my amp and remembered AQ makes subs too. Between the 15" SE and a 15" AQ SDC2.5, how will they compare? Sorry I don't get much exposure to better than bestbuy stuff so I have to base my purchases off of yall's experience. AQ i know makes great stuff, just dont know how good and loud an SDC2.5 will get?
