New sub new box.

I have recently purchased a DD3515 D4. It is gonna be temp until next January when i get a SUV but as of currently i own an s10. I was wondering if anyone had experience with this sub?

It gonna be ran with a Planet Audio PDX 1400.1 at 2 ohms so around 1k rms i believe? Remember its temp for a few months. So the question is.. How many Cubes tuned to how many Hertz? I am building this box tomorrow if not then Saturday. I have a little ported box building experience so it should not be a super monotonous process. All help would be greatly appreciated.

This is a 15, not a 12.

I would do 5-5.5 cubes tuned to 34 hz.

No, DD recommends 3.5. 2.5 is for the 12, you may have gotten it confused.

And yes, I actually made a listened to a box like that. My buddy had a 3515 and a RF t1000 and it slammed in 5 cubes. The box could've been larger.

They recommend 4 cubes. They are so stiff and running it with that little of power you can definitely go with a bigger box.

Okay What about sub direction and port direction? Sub forward and port up is from what i read the best in a ext cab s10.

Well im really just looking for input but i got the MDF sitting up on saw horses waiting for the sun to get high enough to keep me warm while i cut. I have decided to go with about 4.5 cubes after displacement tuned to around 30 hz with sub and port facing same direction and i guess i will fire them up or forward which ever fits better in the back i would go bigger with 5> cubes but i think that's a little too tight for a Daily system but i will do some more figuring and measuring while it gets warm.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

thank you but i will prob change my mind and just say screw it and build it at 5 @ 32HZ. I will post a picture of my work when completed.
