my new subwoofer came in today!!!!! i ran to town and came back to see this package on my porch.. i know the FEDEX man hates me.. this big stud weighs 78lb!! its a DC Audio Level 5 D2.. and will accompany my Sundown SAZ3000d in the hatch region. dont worry, i have all 0Ga wiring and grounds and 2 Odyssey PC925 batteries along side my aftermarket 100lb G31 starting battery:naughty:

installed it in my 5cuft box.. definately gets loud.. not very musical straight off the ups truck but it needs a lil break in time.. i'll beat on it down low for a few days then crank it up this weekend

In the right box it will get musical. My Level 4 is musical as all shit and it surprised the hell out of me for a 15".

5 cubes ? Definitely smaller - you will have a HUGE peak with that much volume. Shrink it up to flatten response a bit =)

man tell me about it!! i wanna do something 3cubes with tunable ports.. plugable slot port or aeros and a plug but i have no clue on design.. i mean i can design a standard slot design.. but this is a lil outta my league
