I really want to do aeros in my new box. The box will be 8 cubes tuned to 34-36 hz. I would like to do one large port, like an 11 inch port. But I don't really want to go through trying to find that big of tube and finding flares and the connect them together. So I made up box plans for 3 6" aeros, but it just doesn't really look right too me.

I'm not sure what to do. I don't really want to do a squared port, but so far it looks like my only option.

both up firing or rear firing.
I don't have enough depth to do up firing, but I was thinking about rear firing as well. It is louder. But I'd want to up or downfire my port(s) because my back window my fall out with the port rear firing, no joke.

That would be a function of the harness, not the HU, I think. Have you looked into a Maestro or iData interface? i would check with crutchfield...

thanks DB, that definitely helps swallowing a $300 price tag 😂 these would essentially be running midbass for me too

What is your budget? With being exposed to Rain.. I would recommend looking at a marine grade SAS Bazooka for the sub stage

Don't forget Hoffman's Iron Law. You can have 2 of the 3: low end, efficiency/sensitivity or small enclosure size...
