As per title, I have a Passat (2002) which needs a aerial adaptor for aftermarket stereos which is connected.
Stereo is all set up and comes on but only produces a small bassy sound, no audio.
When the long metal part of adaptor is placed on the back of the unit then bam, it works!!??
I have another stereo which works fine in the same car.
Would a wire from the adaptor to the back of unit be ok/safe?
What is the cause of this??
