Photos are done, specs and enclosure info will be up soon. Below are shots of the new Dcon 10, it is a shallow mount. It is still a great SQ option that blends really well, and can have authoritative output on modest power. The newer design has greater cooling and more motor force along with a little more power handling and enclosure flexibility than the original Dcon.

Ssa has to have some of best looking subs, with performance to match, love how the motor is extended like that.
Why thank you. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Have any info yet? Definitely interested.
Same here. I may have a couple of installs coming up soon that this would be perfect for. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

No problem. I understand. Also if you could tell me how much sealed or ported air space they need. And what you would safely consider a daily rms range. If they will fit id like to put 2 10s in my truck. Thanks.

Enclosure wise, they are not far off from a mix between the original Dcon and the Gcon. Not knowing listening habits or power, for a pair of 10's sealed, I would do around 1.5 cubes with maybe a pound or so of polyfill, and ported I would aim for 2.2 cubes tuned in the 31hz range.

Power wise, 400 is plenty. I pushed it pretty far past that, but that was more for abuse testing. So going over 500 is not really needed, 300-400 is plenty and a nice sweet spot.

Do you think they would be ok with 1.05 sealed? That's about how much room I will have under the seats. Also I've got about 6" mounting depth to work with. Do-able?

That is tight, but could work with some polyfill/acoustastuff. Is that mounting depth allowing for space in front of the cone?
