New speakers, then got pulled over :)

So tonight I finally installed my new CDT's. Even went the creative route and mounted the tweeters on the posts on either side of the windshield. Everything sounds amazing, and then on my way home listening to how fantastic it sounded, i got pulled over haha. Oh and my car is making this weird whistling whenever i accelerate? Anyone know anything about that? Anyways I HIGHLY reccomend the CDT EF-61FG's.

That alternator whine is caused by a bad ground, oftentimes in the head unit. Especially if its a pioneer.

I too have the "weird whistle". I cleaned up my grounds from my amp and they are mounted outside my truck directly to the metal frame so it can't be my amps making the noise. I have a Pioneer HU, how can I fix this? Also, I get static on my system. Like if it's turned up and the music stops for a second (like a break in a song) you can hear like a buzzing sound that's really annoying.

I was told both of those were bad grounds, but I've sanded the part of my trucks frame they are attached to and cleaned up the posts, it won't go away.

EDIT:

I should also note that even when I changed from 3700MP to 590IB it didn't change anything.

it used to never whine though, i have an alpine hu, the whine just started after i put in speakers and tweeters, could the speaker wiring cause it somehow?

i had the same problem in my old accord, moved the ground, nothing happend, got one of those isolator things, didnt help, then I swapped out the RCA's and it went away.
