ok i currently have a 12 inch alpine type X in a ported box with a JL 1000/1.. i have to get rid of my 12 due to less room in trunk because i installed airbags and my tank is back there... im going ot have to go down to 10 inch sub.. i dont want to lose any bass and i want to keep my JL 1000/1 so my question is.. can i get a 10 inch sub that will either equal or out preform the 12 inch type x while using the same JL 1000/1 amp.. open to any suggestions. .. as for price... its somewhat of issue but not much.. im lookin more towards the goal in mind.. other then the price.

how does a 10 inch 9500 compare to a 12 inch alpine type x? i want to try and get the best 10 inch sub for that amp
