New Setup... thoughts?

Whats up guys... just getting around to redoing my system. tell me what you think of my upgrades

HU: Pioneer avic-n3 (upgradding from alpine cda-9851)

Front stage: Alpine Type S comps

Rear stage: Alpine Type S 6x9

Alpine 4 channel amp (forgot #)

Subwoofer: JL 10w6v2 (downgrading from 2 12" Ascendant Audios sealed... enclosure was wayyy to small, so sounded not so good)

Amp: JL 500/1 (Again, downgraded from a hifonics 1606d)

Wiring will be 1/0 guage run the length of the car, fused to a 4ga amp kit

Also the big three will be done in 1/0.

Thoughts??? going into a 98 civic coup

The only thing I'd change about that list is scratching the rear components and going with a DIY set of individual tweets and midbasses up front, and adding a roll or two of sound deadening to that list.

yea, going to hopefully have a friend help me with everything... (im sitll new) and eventually once some funds open up i plan on going ss or cadillac dampening the trunk / doors. Also upgrading the front / rear stages. I bought my first system in a rush and without much car audio info... but think the n3 is a nice touch?

I've always loved the look of dark-tinted cars...

But I can't drive one. My Mom has 40, I think, or 35... and I can barely drive her car. My brother has 5% all around and I have to put his windows down. Haha. I can't stand having my peripheral dimmed.

But, it looks awesome.

I'd get rid of the rear fill, and get another comp set. Do you have a price range for the front stage?

i'd love to reroute the $$$ to speakers... but im getting an incredible deal... under $400 for a n3... cant pass that up
