New setup ideas

Alrite well something like i pieced together before would be a nice setup and a big upgrade for him.

2 18" Audioque HDC3s D1

Audioque 3500D @ 1ohm

Kinetik 1800 under hood, Kinetik 2400 in back

250 - 300amp HO alt (DC Power, Mechman, Ohio Gen, DB Linc, etc)

Knukoncepts Kollosus 1/0 awg wiring(big 3 upgrade and for wiring batts and amps)

13ft3 @ 34hz w/ 160sq in of port

A setup like that would be pretty nasty and plenty loud for your friend.

seems on the small side for port area to me, for a slot port atleast...

As far as more than bump, he specifically asked for 18's haha. His car, his money, he wants 18's lol.

I talked it over with him. We've decided on increasing the budget to 3,000 or 3,500. Also just sticking with two 18's. We are going with the recommended setup from above.

For the headunit we are going with IVA-W203/P1 by alpine.

The price of this is not a part of our budget. So 3 or 3.5k not including the HU.

As far as other wires besides the power/ground. I am looking at 8 gauge speaker wire. What kind of RCA's and remote turn on should I be looking at? I read that 12awg for the turn on lead should work fine?
