NEW setup? Eh? Eh? Eh?

So i've been daydreaming (nightdreaming, if you will) about a new setup for my car.

I have a bxi2006d right now, with 2 setups, 2 12" type-x's (dual-4) in 2.0cf each tuned @ 30hz, and 2 15" 2006 L7's in 4.5cf each @ 33hz.

The bxi2006d isn't really enough power for either, and honestly, i'm not sure if the sound of either is 100% what i'm going for, so i may do a new setup altogether.

If i were to sell all of my gear i mentioned above, and bought one of the two following setups, which would you do??

setup 1 - an orion 2500D and 2 12" L7's in 3.0 each @ 35hz???????

setup 2 - 2 lanzar opti2000d's and 2 15" L7's in 4.5 each @ 33hz???? (i'd still need to sell my current setup to get dual 2-ohm models rather than dual 4-ohm models)

For a well rounded, and loud, daily driver, which of these two setups would you guys lean towards? I may be keeping the alpines for a home-theater setup, since i'm getting a 1-bedroom apartment in august, and don't have to worry about bothering roomates //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I'm kinda leaning toward the 12's, simply because i listen to rock more than rap, and would benefit from being able to tune a bit higher (i tried tuning the 15's to 42hz, and their output SUCKS up high, the 12's would be much nicer for rock, i think)

oh ya, and the only reason i'm really considering the 15's again (since i don't really listen to rap) is because my electrical system is now OVERKILL (as in 14.6 at idle, even with my bxi2006d fully in clipping!!!)

If anyone can convince me why 15's would be better, that's cool too. I'm just beginning to think a little higher tuning is more up my alley.

What kind of $$ are we talking, don't know anything about them.

Plus, moving to the city next year, not trying to get anything that's gonna set me back more than a few weeks if it's gone in the morning, if you dig.

How about this for an option #3... An orion 2500D @ .5 ohms with 2 15's?
