New Question about Subs

they hit nice but kinda pricey. I don't care what anybody else says, if you're able to afford the t1's you should go with the MTX 8500 series. They're a little more expensive, but they take a hell of a beating without breaking a sweat //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif (was running 800-850 watts to each of my 12" 8500 superwoofers for about 2 years and they loved it and are still live and kickin')

They will last you forever.

Real fukin sturdy woofers, and they hit freakin loud as hell

I blew the hell out of 2 12" type r's with the same amplifier that I was running the 8500's on, both subs are rated 500 watts rms.... not dissin on alpine but type r's are $100 subs hello? there is no comparison in the quality between the two

those 8500's could take a clipped signal like nobody's business!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I can smell my freggin AQHDC315's(new aluminum suspension) when it gets clipped hard, not the same kinda sturdiness/quality i'm tellin ya. I still have BOTH the mtx and AQ subs. I'm currently using the new AQ's. Don't doubt the longevity/abuse proof of the more expensive mtx subs. I've never even heard of anyone blowing an mtx 8500 or 9500 yet...

and they slammed HARD

ive seen 9500s go up in smoke //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif any sub will if you abuse it...

Do those Rockford Fosgate T1's hit? Was thinking bout getting two 12's.
Decent subs

I just got done installing 1 in an H3 and it gets pretty loud. Not the best sounding woofer but has potential for a good amount of output. FYI my box was like 2.xxft^3 @36ish

So to answer you question, yes they hit

The T1s are nice subs. I personally woulnt ever own one tho. Just depends on the money you wanna spend. Like everyone has been saying if you want better for your buck go with AQ, Sundown, FI, etc.
