I have a GMC sierra Reg. cab so my space is limited... so heres my plan.
Two Alpine Type S SWS 1043 subwoofers at 300 RMS (1 cubic ft recommended air space)
T600-2 Rockford Fosgate amplifier RMS 300 watts x2 at 2ohms.
Im going to run the two subs in parrallel to a 2 ohm load, 300 watts out of each channel. I found two boxes online that will fit in my truck and have an air space of .98 cubic ft (Alpine recommends 1.0 cubic ft air space for these subs). The mounting depth for the subs is 4.4" and the mounting depth in the boxes is 5.5".
So what do you guys think? I can get a dual enclosed box that will fit my truck with 1.98 cubic ft. air space per sub. Do you guys think i should stick with the single enclosed boxes with .98 cubic ft air space or get the dual enclosed box with an extra 1 inch cubic ft air space?
