IDK what that higher tune will do to the low end response in a smaller box and how it'll react with the port area you used... here is a much better curve that will go under 30hz easy and still peak in the 40's... it's 4.25ft3 net with 47.25 in2 ported 23.75" long... it's a 31.84hz tune and it looks like it'll do just fine as a daily. You have a crossfire vr 1000 correct?.. I accounted for around 1200 watts as well. If you got the room I'd definitely go with or close to this... it should sound nice.

yes i know u r right but i want and i need at least half of the trunk space like at my other box and this new 3cf + port is the biggest that i can feet and keep some usable trunk space, this new box will use the same space has this one

i was playing around with some port tunes (30 to 40) and 34hz was the most balanced one to me...
yes it have ss filtre i was thinking about setting the ss to 30hz

how do i calculate the port speed?
on wins go to rear port air velocity see what it shows at like 33hz if below 30mps it's low enough but it also can be too low

dont have that option.. i have winsd beta //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

but i see that we can get a port length from winsd....

win sd give-me 29in length for a 34 hz tune but the calculator from the site The12volt.com give me a length of 31in, the same Port Width and Height on the 2 calculator´s, 3cf box and 3 x 15.74 port to a 34 hz why the diference?

What's your max USEABLE dimensions?.. what are you willing to use?
so box including port

Width - 39

Height - 17

Depth - 14.5

and those are the measurements of this box 3 cf + port

if its possible to make it sound good this way i realy like to keep the 3 in port, i realy dont like 1.5 or 2 in slot port it just looks like a mail box lmfao

if i put bigger than this i have low storage space and i cant go to the spare tire....

thats why that pioneer box have round port if i try slot port it will become to big for my day to day use

You'll want 45's in the corners, not pvc piping
i know that, but the problem is that i dont have a saw that makes angle so 45º is out the door //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif im not going to buy a new power toll just to make 45º... i will try to find someone that can lend one //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

32-33 hz tune with your space...

I'd tune as low as I could and use the most airspace I could get... only 45 the port bend and brace the rest with dowels (top to bottom, front to rear)... that's me though

You have roughly 50 liters total, which will probably work with that sub.
