New personal BEST for my Mach5 and AQs

Well went to a local USACI show tonight....had a few different changes too my 12 box, just last week at show did a 148.8, so i was expecting about the same if not lower.

Setup:

Mach5 SPL12

2 AQ2200s @ 1ohm strapped

2cu@40hz

I was shockedddd.

Ever since Jeremiah tested the first HDC 12 and did a 48 legal i alwayssss tried too top that, got close with my 1 HDC....146legal....than got close with Mach5 with 147 legal.

Now this is in kick sealed up...im up about 1db from dash to kick...so i think i finallyyyy did it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Oh and at 44hz...no burp setup here

Agreed. I think if he does a jump in power like he's thinking about doing.. he'll pop that 150 quick.

I got a few more tricks too try out first.

150 would be amazing for me if i can get it....dk if others know, but USACI has a globe around the mic, so cant get it as far up in kick now.

Its easily a .2-.3 down with globe on for most....so normal metering ill get it prolly right now

Going to a friends shop this week and do some specific deadening in spots.

And do a Lil work on inside of box.

Should crack a 50 outlaw no problem.

Than going for 50 legal.

The only problem I've had with the Mach 5 is that the cone has started stressing, leaving small crease lines in it. I can't really complain though, I had 2 Sundown 3000's @ 1 ohm strapped (0.5 ohm per amp) on it. It did 149's at the headrest and 150's in the kick at 45 hz.
