What you think about the new MTX Thunder 9500 Woofer?

I just got to hear it today, And it thump's louder then two of my 15's...

But, The price is so high for just one. I believe it was like over 1000$ just for 1.

yes indeed very nice sub but it can be found for under 500$ at onlinecarstereo.com

supposed to be getting them at circuit city.

They just got them at HH Gregg, And they want around 1,100$ for one of them new MTX Enclosure's....

But, If I can get the sub's for around 500 Each, I may look into getting me 2 of them.

supposed to get real loud.for 500 i aint gonna spend that though...id get an A to try and then id stick it to a wall socket hehehehe

They are real loud.... I got to hear the smallest one today, It was like 500 RMS, And that thing hit hard... And the excursion on it was just, WOW... That's something that's not only loud, But really fun to watch.

Most are like 750 RMS.

a xxx has 32mm of xmax on it.... and 2kw rms...for the anal ones its actually 1.6kw but it takes 2kw..and itll sound best with 800w to it and beyond

for the price and huge marketing BS that MTX put up on em i'm not too impressed. i mean for 500 bucks i would go with something along the lines of like a pair of D2's or hell even a single 13W7 can be had for about that price and they are much better IMO and experience than the 9500. i was impressed but i've heard louder including my car. not to mention my D2 liked the 1600rms more than the 9512 did hehe. the shop won't let me demo anymore woofer's. hey it's there fault for doubting the 35.1.

I dont doubt its capabilities, but I dont much about it, but I would really like to see on in action
