New JLW6 - What Amp?

I recently purchased a JL 12w6v2. I believe JL recommended 500W for the sub but apparently it can handle much more, the warranty is just voided after around 750 I believe. But anyways, I was just wondering what amp you would recommend to run with this sub, price is really not too big of an issue. Also, I have 2 Focal components up front, and 2 Alpine speakers in the back; will I need to run a separate amp to them? Or will the head unit be able to run them fine (Head unit is an Pioneer Avid D-3 double den)?

Thanks!

Can they really handle that much more power? My 13w6v2 started to crap all over itself with 1000 watts RMS and I am sure I would have made short work of it had I kept my older 2 ohm stable Power 1000bd powering it. Even my Lunar L2125 which is rated to produce 570 watts @ 2 ohms easily drives my 13w6v2 in JL's Stealthbox to its mechanical limits!

My 10w3v2s did NOT like 1,000 watts RMS feeding a pair of them in .75 cubic feet sealed per 10.

EDIT: I also forgot to clarify that I set my amplifiers to give me maximum, unclipped RMS power at 3/4 volume just to perform some tests on how well the JL Audio subwoofers I owned would handle the power. In other words, my mini test is NOT how I would have set the amplifiers up for a daily listening setup.
