Any thoughts on them? I've heard them and think they sound pretty good. The jx1000/1d is tiny for 1000rms and appears to be pretty efficient which is important for me with my ****** stock alternator. JL says use an 80 amp fuse for the jx1000/1d.

I know there is much better stuff for retail cost but I have a chance to get the jx360/4 for around $150 and jx1000/1d for around $250, which is like 10% over cost plus tax, both are brand new in the box. Anything better out there at that cost and would I be stupid to pass that up?

EDIT: If it matters its going on a 10" Alpine Type X dual 4 ohm and I have Focal polyglass components up front

Not the jx1000/1d its tiny almost as small as the xd line. Its about half the size of the old tma and j2 1000.1

I think the JX series is the same guts as the TMA counterpart which isnt a good thing
Were the tma and j2 that bad? Makes me think twice about the jx360/4 because I don't know if its that much different than the older tma and j2

Any better 4 channel amps for $150ish?
