Okay I get it's stable at 2ohms but I hear it can run at 1ohm 1500rms per channel non bridged so if I have 2 d1 subwoofers it can be wired to give them 1500rms a piece?

no, you need 2 d2 subs to wire to 1 ohm a piece, but then you could just wire it to two and call it a day anyways.

So 2 d1's wire down to 2 ohms? How much power would the amp put 2 each sub because it's not bridged

iirc the ap3k is a mono amp, not a 2 channel...

you can but it will put the amp at a 1ohm load which the amp my take if you have good electrical backing it.

ive seen the ap3k burped at .5 a few times and it did ok, but im not sure about it playing music at 1

after further review, it is a 2 chan. but what i said above still applies.

your either going to be getting around 750 to each sub or pushing the amp past what it is designed to do. which may be possible

no i wouldnt do it get a 1 ohm mono amp

have a powerbass xa3000d for 325 shipped

The reason I questioned it was because I'm going to have 1 18 and hook it up to a 3000d amp then I'm gonna get another 18 and run it at 4ohms for alitte until I get another 3000d amp

ok thanks, my team mate is looking for an amp that will take 18V from the alts he was going with some AQ 3500's but they are out.

I got a buddy selling an older AQ3500d. But I remember a competitor telling me that he ran the 3k at 18v for comps before. NO higher tho.

if he has a regulator and can turn it down to like 17v i would do that. 18v may be fine for just comps but i sure as hell wouldnt run it at that for a daily
