New Install Help (Pictures Included)

If I removed those 6x9's, would that automatically open up more RMS watts to the 2 tweeters/2 door speakers? Or would that have to be re-wired?
No, the power going to your front components will stay the same, you will just have two extra channels on the amp that are not being used, no wiring changes are necessary.

Just pop off the speaker wires to the 6x9s inputs and wrap some electrical tape on the wire ends to make sure they don't short out on any metal then tuck them out of sight and then remove the speakers, you can reinstall them by reversing the procedure.

Awesome, 1 more thing..

Since im using a capacitor, even if I unhook the battery before doing this.. I still don't have to worry about getting the hell shocked out of me do i?

While unhooking the 6x9s? No, there should be no voltage present there. Unless you're playing music.

Youd've done yourself service to read up on this stuff before you blew a thousand bucks on a subwoofer I got for $40.

**** nice whip. install is nice n clean, very pricey. personally i would never install like that, cuz i need my trunk space. you can use some L brackets on the box and scew it to the trunk floor, but that would dmg the box so i wouldnt do that. velcro the bottow on the box can work also.

**** that installation alone cost more than my HU, amp, box, and sub combined =/

Sorry to tell you but your a ricer man, people like you make imports look stupid. Good job looking stupid

Any peticular reason you set the parking brake in an automatic? I smell whats cooking, and it ain't zatarans!

And all the money wasted on the install could have went toward a much better digicam, or even a better camera phone

For your info, this car had over $30,000 put into it. I am not a "street racer" or "ricer" as you call it.

I bought it off the guy as is for 13k with 47,000 miles on it, I would say I got a pretty **** good car for it to be my first.

Stop hatin.

Don't ask me, that was a picture taken from the guy I bought it from, I imagine he was parked on a hill & his digicam sucks?

my advice is this. stop bullshitting your numbers because no one believes them and hex the person that gave u that paint job
Bullshitting? Picture speaks for itself.

My thoughts exactly, I told them to mount the amplifiers either on the walls of the trunk or on the sides to give me some room..

1. Amps apparently couldnt fit on the sidewalls? I wasn't there (i dropped car off)

2. They did put the amps on the side, but I guess they wanted to use the pre-existing holes cut into the pullout (guy I bought car from used to have big system, he took out his amps/subs)

I still have a lil room to the sides and in the back a lil bit, I don't really plan on hauling anything anyway.. maybe just groceries or something.

You are most certainly correct, I did spend alot.. but im not an "Audiophile", I just want a good sounding system, I don't really care for SPL or anything like that, as far as I'm concerned.. that's all I ever plan to spend on the audio for that car unless something breaks.. or blows up for that matter.

One thing you should make clear to everyone is that the 900+ dollars you spent was for the installation AND components together.
