okay where can i get a toggle switch and where is my parking break wire?

ok u can get a switch from auto zone walmart etc. places like that 2-10 bucks. u can get some cool ones that light up etc. u wire the wire from your deck it might say break wire safty wire to the switch and then u wire the othere end from the switch to a ground. u will need like about 3 feet of 16 ga wire and u should be good. mount the switch and make sure u turn it off when not in use . get one that lights up. red keep it low and out of sight thats if your window is not tinted.

I'll say it one more time no parking brake wire attach wire form head unit that is so post to go to the parking brake and from the switch another piece of wire goes to ground anywhere on a piece of metal. You can get a toggle switch from radio shack. honestly if you can not understand how simple this is than dont do it.

ahhhhhhhh thank ypu man i realy appreciate that advice haha i get it now! ill go pick u a switch tomrrow so i can watch movies finally. where is a good place to ground at?

any metal spot that will work. sand the spot down a little bit and bam your good.

for future reference, a special code is only needed to bypass the parking break feature. I had the jensen VM9312 with the motorized screen, and it suggested the whole grounding thing. I googled the bypassing and found the code you needed to pop up the secret menu. Once you get the menu, you can turn off the parking break feature. I dont know if this would help anyone in the future, but i figured i would just put this information so others can see.
