pmto ya again what you both need is to not just ground the wire you have to make a toggle switch in between it to turn it on and back off they have made the head units so you cant just ground it anymore

I saw a thing on another forum about Jensen double dins. Apparently there is a system menu that requires a certain sequence of events to get to.

Almost like a cheat code for xbox YYYXXXBBAABBTTSS ya know, button mashing crap.

Wonder if there is one for ur HU';s

Always research the deck forst but most of the time it is as simple as grounding that brake wire. What deck is it?

he has a dual deck and i dont know what to do. im good with decks and i wana help him out ,im gona do some stuff tomrrow for him as well.

put a switch on the wire to ground, plain and simple

How does switching it make a difference? I don't understand. Electrically, there is no difference between flipping a switch and closing a relay to ground. Or wiring directly to ground.

Help me understand tha.

if you look in your instructions it says to activate video viewing put car in park put parking brake on for 2-4 seconds "making a ground" turn it back off "disconnecting from ground" and turn it back on "connecting to ground" this is a new safety feature in new model head units so you need to do this only with a switch if you want to use the video feature while driving "because you cant have your parking brake on while driving" SO you use a switch to turn the ground on and off and you do this every time you get int he car and want to use video viewing. If you dont understand that well I dont know how else to put it.

^^^^^^^READ you need to take the wire going to your parking brake and conect it to your switch from there another end goes to ground NO parking brake will be tied in. Just ground the wire from the switch.

im gona connect the wire to a switch and go from there. when u want to watch a dvd flip that SWITCh
