New HU help

okay i got my frst double din tody for christmas, i hooked everything up but this wire for the "break" i have an 05 scion xa does anyone know where to tap the brake wire into so i can watch movies and what not?

u know what if some one can post how to get that to work that would be good. im tryin to help some one out tomrrow and he has a issue tryin to play dvd. same issue i never dealt with a dvd deck. lol

yea so how'd u do it? well how do u bypass it really. I can find my brake light switch

im just curious. is it only looking for a 12v source?

its needs power i try to connect it to everything and i got no power. i went to the ant wire and nothing. Im sorry man to jump up in your thread like this its just i wana help some one out who has the same issue..

but ur antenna wire is switched on only when your HU is set to Tuner.

As soon as you turn it back to movie that cuts power to the antenna lead. Did you try the remote lead?

cool,yea i never dealt with a dvd deck and it has a brown wire that says brake on it and when u put a dvd in it goes blue and says something about the car has to be in park or something. I might have to do some google searches in a min .lets see what happens.

thats what mine does! its frustrating

i went to the rem and power wire and nothing. u have to go to the ebrake wire.
