Are you kidding? This is one of the better times to buy a house, not quite as good as it will be in a year or 2, but definantly better then 2 years ago.

Basic economics, this recession is pushing people out of their house and is lowering values. Sure if he tried to turn around and sell it tomorrow he would lose money, but 5 years from now? Not so much.

The housing market is a rollercoaster. Real estate is one of the better investments, as long as you get a deal, it doesnt matter.

More than likely because my father is a real estate broker and my mom is a mortgage broker..and well if you had watched any form of a news program or picked up a paper in the last 8 months you would see that this country is heading for a recession....FAST.
So before you go shooting off at the mouth, maybe you should get your facts straight.

You're parents know about every market in the country huh? Sure people are broke and foreclosures are also helping drive prices down. That doesnt mean everywhere is going down pal. In fly over land(where I am) prices are nice and steady for the most part.

I think you are the one that needs to get his facts in order because you obviously don't have enough facts to make the statement made earlier.
