make your own decision. try different things out. You just had to come out and tell people that "rap" (as you call it) is not quality music, although it implements alot of classical, rock, and other genres of music into it, you seem to have made your mind up about that. SHIT OR GET OFF THE POT.

This is not a rap discussion. Listen to whatever you like. I just tried to protect me from wrong advice.

I can't compare them because none of the nearby stores have them for display. You think I'm having fun spending hours online if I had the choice of comparing them myself? Not.

I'll call Chad and tell him I'm going with the Rainbow SLC 265. The difference is about $90. That **** 6spdcoupe only got back to me once saying that he'll sell one for $230. I still haven't heard from him.

The difference is alot less than $90 when you take into consideration..$70 for the mids,$70 for the tweets and about $80 for a pair of crossovers = $240. Actually puts the SLCs at a cheaper price point.

i was under the impression that you wanted to keep your systemunder $600... you already went past with the draconia decision.... the diyma isn't going to help...

it is a great sub, pure sq and will probably kick anything in the price range's a$$ when it comes to sq. it only needs a .5^3 cu ft box sealed and have great linear performance. but... by the rate your going, your looking at more than $1000 for everything... are you ready for that? maybe you need to take a look at your priorities a bit. And please, please listen to 6spdcoupe... get the slc's..... it will save you a lot of time... and the slc's sound incredible with just plug and play.... don't over do it by going diy and regretting it....

um... don;t get me wrong, its a great set up and all but i don't think it's what he's looking for.... the cdt's are known for their intense midbass and its more of a "rap" style speaker.... the slc's are better for classical.

also the diyma will kick the id's a$$ for $40 cheaper..

Freestyler, I'm in Glendale as well. Too bad you'll be doing your in November. As soon as my system arrives, I have to install it. Maybe next week. But we could get a good discount if we had two cars done at the same time.
