Newb to the car audio scene here, found this site which has a ton of useful info on it. Definitely going to be lurking around a lot more.
Right now in my '97 Dakota i am running:
*Alpine MRP-M500 with 2 Rockford Fosgate P1S4 8" subs in parallel (one just wasnt enough) in sealed boxes
*Alpine MRX-F30 with a pair of RF P152 and P165 coax speakers in the doors and back
*Topped off with an Alpine CDE-102 HU
Just got my wire for the big 3 upgrade so I will be doing that as well as installing my door speakers and amp for them this week. Plan on laying down some material for damping purposes while im in there. Im more for SQ than SPL but i like to crank my music every now and then //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Will definitely be utilizing the info on this site to select some better components when I get a car (gas is getting pricey!) or when I feel like doing an upgrade to my truck.
