hey all.

im new here and thought id introduce myself. my names ben and im from missouri. i love car audio. been in the game since i was like 16. (26 now) although ive really only started learning anything about it here recently. like just the past couple of years. lookin back i sure did some dumb shit as far as car audio goes. ive been through my fair share of cheap *** audio sh*t. but i learned as i went. i am still no expert though. i think ive started to get a collection of fairly decent car audio items. im really in to spl. i love it loud. thats just the way ive always been lol. ok so i have a few questions. but first let me tell you what i have. right now im my car i have 2 kicker cvrs with dual 4 oh vcs. running them is an old skool rockford fosgate punch 500.2. i actually have 2 of these amps tho along with a rf 50.2 to match. and i have a hifonics goliath 12" sub. what i want to do is run both the big amps to the hifonics sub and the 50.2 will be used for my fronts. i want it to be loud. but i dont know what specs i should build the box too. can anyone help me?

Those 2 500.2's wont be enough power for that Goliath. Sell those and buy a Monoblock amplifier for it..be much better off IMHO..

actually they should be more than enough power. i think your think of different rockford ams than what i have. each amp is rated at 500 w rms x 2 @ 2ohms and 1000 w rms x 1 @ 4ohms. and the old skool rockford amps are underrated. the sub is rated at 2400w rms. and there is no way im gettin rid of them they're too pretty lol, and hard to find

thanks. and yes i agree they are pure ***. gettin harder and harder to find. i got the first one like 5 years ago and been in love ever since. finally got the whole collection together when i recieved the 50.2 (small one) last week in the mail. i've been scouring ebay tryin to find a 2 or 4 channel one like that for, ever since i already had 2 of the chrome links (which of all the items from that chrome series are probably the hardest to find). i linked em all together just to see how big it would be and i was pretty surprised. had to go measure my back seat just to make sure they would fit lol. luckily they'll just squeaze in there.
