Hi, my name is Frank, I am semi new to car audio. I used to be in to car systems years ago, in the mid 90's and now rekindled my interest. Alot has changed since then, some of the major players back in the day arnt so hot now, so I got alot to catch up on. I am currently upgrading the system in my work car right now. I have a 1996 Dodge Neon with a Alpine HU, Kicker KS65 and KS69 for my mids running off a Sound Ordnance M4100 amp and 3 10" old school JL Audio W6'S in a sealed box wired to run 1 ohm off of a Nackamichi PA-1500 amp running 1ohm at 1200 RMS watts. My system is pretty loud, I am maxing out the W6's, they are the original version and are conservatively rated at 300 watts RMS and are a 6 ohm speaker I have them wired to run at 1ohm at 1200 watts so I am getting about all I can out of this set up. I decided I wanted some more umph out of my system so I decided after hearing nothing but good about the Sundown Audio subs to buy 2 SA-12's DVC 4ohm and wire them to run 1 ohm off of my Nak amp, it ought to be a good match. Today I started looking for someone that would build me a ported enclosure made for my Neon. I ran across DC Creations and emailed Dustin. I am going to order the box from these guys next week and then get the subs the week after that. I am hoping this set up will be more of what I am looking for.
