Hey yall! I used to be into car audio but I have had more intrest in diesel performance in the past few years. However, I have been wanting to get back into building systems.

This is what I remember from back in the day:

Clarion and Pioneer for head units

Eclipse for screens

JL for amps and subs

??? for tweeters

Diamond Audio for subs also

Please correct the above if I was miss informed.

I have been considering 2 W7 Solo Barics in a 4 door truck, Is that any good? No idea on amp or size of sub yet. Is there any good newbie threads/stickys? Also, what is a good/great brand for 6x9/5x7/etc(are those sizes considering mid range speakers?)?
