New guy from Charlotte

Hello everyone, I'm 22, live in Charlotte, and just trying to figure out a good audio set up for my ride. I drive a 2006 Nissan sentra spec v. It came with a very **** RF sound package. I'm currently running alpine type-s speakers in the front doors, factory tweeters, a 12" alpine type-r run off a alpine mrp-m500 amp, and a alpine hu. For me this set up has a little to much bass. I'm wanting to bump it down to a 10", or maybe even an 8" sub. My problem is the music I listen to varies so much that I'd really like some help on a decent sub that won't break the bank. My music varies from hip hop to techno, to rock. I don't need massive thump, just a good kick. Anyways, thanks for looking.
