ok i have a ? for Dave here is a band pass box i built how do ya think glue will work here i know what happens to 1/4 in of resin in the bottom of the box and the box is 1.5 in thick

Glue would work fine for everything except whatever panel needs to be removable. I know because I built a single 15 bandpass with only glue joints and it held just fine. I'm telling you if you do the joint correct it won't break...but very few people do the joints the right way and that's the problem.

I don't care if no one else on the planet can make it work...I can //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

ok cool just asking i dont think it would seeing what i have seen. ya might want to look at the pics a lil more. but if ya can get it to work cool you will never change my mind. sorry bro. even ca glue that is 4500lbs per sq in brakes. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I'm sure those would both work good since I usually do butt joints and they're very strong. I think people should use whatever works for them...I don't encourage people to use my method...it took me a long time and a hefty investment in tools/clamps to master it. I continue to learn as I go and maybe I'll find even better methods...who knows

i here ya and i respect that ya i blew the baffle on that box and took out the deck screws and the glue joint. i have also been thinking on playing with.

can get a bridg port lol just needs a phase converter.

no dis respect bro. just asking? i will say this if you can get glue to stay locked with a butt joit in .4 cubs ea thats the **** But that is going be hard with out bracing and corners its going to be tough just with 4k to the sub thats alot of pressure being done in .4 ea just think of what 8-10k will do.

I started some outter space building this week have lots of glass work to do will shot ya some pics when in the range of being done is lots of work wow.

Got to get my router table to gether. get some of the stupid work done quick.
