So...when your in court for the next ticket you get from a Highway patrol officer, your defense is going to be "He wasnt wearing his hat. And because he wasnt wearing it, he was not in full uniform and his authority over me was null and therefore this ticket is invalid"....please get this on video.

A firefighter wears a helmet to protect his head and face from fire, not to mention their oxygen supply. Their authority is in their badge, not their hat.
