tryin to install xp pro on my new computer, but when it restarts after copying the files it blue screen's every time, could it be bc i have a SATA hd in it??

yes, this is a brand new hard drive (seagate 120gb sata150)...it will let me install win98 bc thats what i am on right now...i have formatted this HD 2 times already...

just tried installing win2k and the bsod says 'inaccessible boot device'...does that mean my hard drive is shit?? if it was then y does win98 work?

ive had a similar problem before with a buddy's computer.. i build all of my buddy's computers.. you NEED to flash to the newest BIOS version.. find the latest BIOS version for your mobo and flash it.. then install windows XP.. it should work.

is this the motherboard? if so, download F6 the latest version BIOS for this MOBO.. your welcome.

FINALLY got it...i had to install the F6 sata drivers
