well my new summer build budget is getting stretched quick. its for a 2001 explorer. i believe the stock comps are 6x8. i have a pretty small budget of about 600 bucks for front and rear speakers. they will be ran off a Pioneer AVIC-Z2X. what will be the best bang for the buck at around 600 bucks?

yes that includes both. and i was hoping to run them off the HU power if possible. i know it sounds rediculous but i am putting so much into the sub stage since im a bass head and really dont want to spend mucho bucks on the comps. i mean i want it to sound decent but i dont have a ear for music. i played guitar for about 3 years and still couldnt come close to tuning it. so i dont need super high end comps. just something that gets loud and is pretty clean.

If I were you I would get a 2 channel amp and a nice set of comps ~$300 or so for the front and then if you want rear fill leave the stockers on hu power. Just my .02 but I don't think anything is going to get that loud or sound very good off of hu power, and if you have $600 you might as well get an amp and some nice speakers.

if your looking for 5*7 components Hertz makes some for under $200 okay power efficient definetly sound better with amp and dynamat . im pretty sure you can find a nice 4ch amp for the extra $200
