i did get an email from them the testing on the 18's were to see how well they performed in a smaller box as the box got bigger they got louder

I did 143.6 with a w7 in a trunk car @ 46 hz.. and 144.8 with 2 dc lvl3s.. Both setups with 1000 rms.. More than likely less tho after rise and voltage drop..

These are also the ow level subs. From what I know there big boy subs should be comparable to most subs out there.

140 from a pair of 18s are you kidding me. with 800rms should be at least 146s in a open minivan, thats alot of cone area...

bout the same power in a trunk i have gotten a 8" louder. link to the website or pix of the products please...
