DC lvl 4 15 vs Crystal cmpx2 15

ok so these are the 2 subs I'm looking at to replace my SX right now... I don't know what amp yet. I've heard tons of praise on the DC lvl 4s by both their output and SQ I'd never heard about the crystal till just now and after researching it looks nice, often compared to the IDMAX... so what are your thoughts?

The crystal comps are badass woofers, i dont know how they compare to DC though. I assume the crystal uses standard recones and probably a similar motor to DC so theyre basically the same.

I once owned 2 of the Crystal CMPx2 15" subs. I ended up selling both of them, in very good condition for only $400 for the pair, because I really needed the money //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I never ran both at the same time, so I just kept the other as a back up. The CMPx2 15" was the best sounding sub I ever owned. It had tremendous low-end output in my 2.4 cubic feet sealed box that I had in it. I regret selling them every time I hear the word Crystal -- even when it's not in reference to Crystal Mobile Sound. The only thing i didn't like about them was the logo on the dustcap. If it had the CMP series logo on it, it would've looked better.

Anyway...If you love SQ and lows, you'll love it.
