new cheap sound dampening idea

Ok, ive been thinking for a cheap way to get rid of the rattling in my trunk, when i got my "15`s up hittin hard, it almost looks like my trunk is bulging and the rattleing is terrable, i thought about using that peel and seal stuff, but i dont wanna rip out all my carpet, plus i dont want the asphalt smell...then i started wondering if those silver "space" blankets might do anything.....i dont know much about the physical properties of dynamat and brown bread, but let me know what you guys think, could this stuff work? cant hurt ta try.

Second Skin has no asphault smell unless you stick your nose on it. Mabye you might wanna check into that.

I don't think there is anyway that you can prevent the rattling without using somesound deadening like Second Skin. and i highly doubt that space blanket stuff would work, considering it's merely bubblewrap and tinfoil (unless i'm mistaken). the best solution would be to rip out the whole interior, Second Skin over everything, and put it all back in.
