those are actually perdy cool vehicles heh. My sister almost bought one a few weeks ago when she saw one for the first time. She ended up getting a explorer sport trac instead, but that was only because thats what she had been looking at and didnt have much background on the equinox.

It drives really nice, although I can definatly feel the difference in the 6 cyclindar engine compared to the old 8 cyclindar. I really needed a car with AWD/4WD though since my Mountaineer didn't have it. The trunk is kind of weird though so putting some subs in the back is gonna be annoying.

Don't feel the Equinox what so ever but I have considered an 08 Dodge Caravan to haul all the kids around, so I guess I can't talk. Was the WB edition though, lol!

The equinox has no similarities to the blazer whatsoever, completely different platform, etc. I think they were one of the first of the quality vehicles GM started making again.
