I'd inspect the brakes and suspension immediately.

suspension on my truck is about shot. 4x4, aways had some creaks and pops..but now its more of a metal on metal popping.

i should really crawl under there..

I used to have the same wheels on a '79 Cordoba w/ t-tops a long long time ago. 295/50R15 in the rear and 215/50R15 up front. Should look real sharp on it.
