well, it might charge a little faster just because its charging at a higher voltage... but a 200 amp alt is still 200 amps if its @ 14.4 or 15.5v..

the benefit comes at 14.4v x200a=2880 watts where as 15.5v x200a= 3100 watts... But if you are drawing more current than the alt can provide you'll still be sitting @ battery voltage when your wide open.

Nick you are right in the fact that the same amperage with higher voltage will output more power.

I just wanted to clarifiy that the MLA only changed voltage thats all.

According to Gus at OG when you turn an alt up with an ext regulator the amperage goes down as voltage goes up. Not by alot though.

Ok what do we think? I like the first one but the logo is only like 2" tall when its 30" long. It would cut down on cost but it would be pretty small.
