haha much better. those screws in the baffle are exactally in the middle, there is about a 3 inch width between the middle screw and the others, so the middle screws can come out with no problem. there will only be like a 5-6 inch width between the other screws.

If the mounting screws are on the top and bottom of the sub, the sub would have to be mounted diagonally in the baffle due to the screws being in the way. so it all depends on that.

I am not sure what he wants to do with the box, I think he may attempt to carpet, or leave it *****. lol yeah place around here going out of business+sheet which had some footprints and banged up corners= cheappp wood. also got a half sheet for 3 bucks the day after that was in decent condition

oh and my boxes dont require sanding the edges or the face down for it to look good, just a fast run over with the orbital sander to get rid of the pencil marks
