new box for DD 9512d

hey guys i need some advice on boxes.

i found some designs and wanted to know if it would be ok for the DD.

here is one from ROE:

Net volume: 2.5cuft

Tuning: 35Hz

Port Area: 37.5sq in(15"Hx2.5"W)

Dimensions:16.5H"X18D"x24W"

Here is another from ROE:

Net volume: 3cuft

Tuning: 35Hz

Port Area: 45(15"Hx3"W)

Dimensions:16.5H"X20D"x26W"

From here:

2.95 @ 34

Are these designs any good for my sub?

tuning to 40 is what DD recommends and usually is better.

2.75 net volume would be best....net meaning after port displacement and sub displacement

I think you may need some more port area. On DD's website, the 9512G calls for 2.6 cubic feet with 52 square inches of port. I know you have the d series, but that's what I would compare to.

I would also try to make the port right around 50sq in

Hey guys, thanks for the fast replys and all. im not really good with doing these box calculations that why im searching for pre made designs. lol

hey guys, how would i determine the port length?

ive been going nuts trying to figure how how to do this.

ive been using this:

and entered the info from the boxes above and nothing matches up.

any ideas?
