with a table saw it is much easier to make exact cuts, and you DO have the control in your hands, you control the wood over a fixed blade...much better imo

exactly, a table saw is by far superior to a circular saw

Basically a dado blade allows you do make wider cuts in one pass. Like from 1/8" (which a standard blade width.) to 13/16" wide. That is what mine goes to.

My dad's got a Freud in his Makita compound miter saw...it goes through 4x8's like they weren't there, I love using that saw.

depends, but anywhere from 50-500??

I think a real good set could be bought for around a hundred bucks
