But, I am sure that I will be quite happy with a single 18" off 1500d in a buick trunk.

I'll need somebody oh here to make me a custom box, or talk to BJ Fisher, I don't know.

It will be vented, probaly have to be sub up port back, there's no other way to do it. When I had my 15" box in there, i had less than a 1/4 inch between the trunk lid and top of box.

I know they're not out yet, but would the single 18 off of 1500rms roughly, be louder than my old Maw 15's (2) off of a RF T10001bd?

Just research while ur waiting for the sub to come out and build your own box,its fun,rewarding plus save alot of money.

Not sure about the question,I would lean more to the hdc3 because of its spl background,but your install is what will make the difference.

i read most of the thread and i didn't notice if there was any differences in the motor of the 18 that make it so much more expensive.

Regardless i'm waiting to order a pair of them, tentatively...running off a hk4000 @ 1 temporarily.

Dumb question but how do you get them, you siad they were released two days ago but usually when a product is released by a company they would let you order it from them and they dont have them up yet.
