New Audioque Subwoofer (HDC3) PICS

Well currently i have them runnin off my headuint. So like 17 watts or something like that. They are very very clean and clear. Great imaging(spelling?) has solid midbass for 5 1/4. But they deff. need more power but all in all i like them ALOT.

ask Dj for that info and 0.5 stable amp is never going to run proper daily, and you would need your voltage to stay high, and it wouldnt be warrantied, lastly THE AMP WONT SEE A 0.5 LOAD AFTER IMP RISE you might wire it to 0.5 nominal, but your reactive is going to be higher.

I am fully aware and understand what you are saying^ im just asking will the amps be .5 ohm stable. Voltage isnt a problem for all people and independence rise works for all ohm loads there is always an independence rise so that isnt an issue either. The IA 20.1 is a good example most people but that amp to run below 1 ohm that where it puts it power at. And i have read that these amp will be rated at their actual power. But i still wanna know

All I was trying to say is NO amp is MADE to run at 0.5ohm load, nor is it warrantied, but normally any Class D mono amp will handle BEING WIRED at 0.5, because imp rise brings it up a good amount....NO AMP IS BUILT TO BE 0.5OHM STABLE!! NOR WILL THE MAKER SAY YEA RUN IT AT 0.5 ALL DAY Ask DJ personally and I assure you he will tell you NO not for daily use!! Easiest thing to do is buy 1 and try it. Just email Dj from the Aq site or pm DJL on here....

They show ratings for that ohm load, but when you look at the warranty it doesnt cover it.....Either or runing an amp at 0.5 isnt good for 1 they will tend to get hot alot quicker etc...

Sundown 1500s were warrantied at .5 ohm for the longest...they just stopped //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/graduate.gif.d982460be9f153bb54e5d4cb744f6ae8.gif

prolly becuz of n00bs?
probably because to many of them were ending up BLOWN!
Noobs and R'tards are why they were getting blown. If I were to ever start my own car audio company I would require that people pass a strict training course before they were allowed to purchase my products. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
