hey guys im looking to buy the Kicker CompVX VCVX12 4-Ohm

200 for the amp? Im trying to use cardomain.com's blowout sale to my advantage its my first setup so im not trying to be to extravagant

im definately getting that sub though so an amp is all I need

budget, power u need, how many subs are u buying just 1 cvx or 2? Btw, do they make the cvx in d2 conf.? If they do u might wanna go with that if ur looking to buy only 1 sub

Try to find a good mono class d that can output between 800-1200w rms @ 2 ohms.

I would get the Kicker. I had that exact same sub run off a ZX1000.1. It took the power. But i don't know about Clarion amps...

They're built fairly well imo and will do rated power. Will give some overhead for any possible future upgrades as well.
