New Amp, Stuck In protect Mode! Red Light!

I would take the amp out and try joining the remote wire with the power and ground the amp at the battery on the vehicle the amp being installed in to see if it lights up green or not,if not, then do the same thing on a different car?? If does not go into protect mode at the battery, then this tells you that there is an issue with your supply/and or ground wiring?? Recommend running a new power supply and/or ground.Try ground first.

well, if you got it working in your room, then you should be able to get it going in the car..... what conditions changed? did you test for good voltage at the amp terminals? put the ground parobe on negative, and check both the positive and remote voltage with the other probe. then, compare to the battery. also, try it with just the power hooked up, not rcas, or speakers

Last thing to do..My opinion..take the amp to stereo shop and let them test it out...Most charge nothing at all.Im betting bad amp.Id box it back send it for warranty.HOPE YOU STILL HAVE ORIGINAL BOX AND SPECS ECT.Most warranty not accepected without original packaging!!!! Still not clear on your ground though,,why i always take the amp out and test it at the battery.. since i dont use a dmm.
