New amp, stock wiring/location

When using the stock HU, is there a way to replace the stock amp with a more powerful aftermarket one?

When i look at the amp under my seat, i just see lots of wires running to it. I can assume that going into the amp there is power, ground, remote and some type of RCA connection.

I guess the part that confuses me most is what type of RCA cables the HU is using, and how i would hook them up to another amp.

the headunit probably isnt using RCA's at all.........your best bet is to just get a line out converter to a new amp and install your own power and ground wire
