New Amp for Sub

I want to get a new amp for my sub(Diamond Audio D3 12 Dual 4 ohm), it is currently powered by an Alpine MRP-M350, but I'm almost certain that this sub can take more than this amp is putting out. The amp is rated 350 watts RMS at 2 ohms. Anyone have in suggestions? I was thinking about maybe the Alpine MRP-350, JL 500/1, or any other quality amp with the $200-$250 range.
