New alternator

Hi everyone. I was looking into getting a Hifonics Brutus BRZ2400.1D amp to run 4 Hifonics HFX12D4 subs. Im going to run a second battery but what fuse size should in put in between batteries? I do plan on getting a better system down the road but getting a good deal on this stuff and money is tight. Do you think a 160 amp alternator is too big? Thanks

No such thing as too big of an alternator.
